Where do we operate?
On the North Coast of the Dominican Republic — near the vibrant town of Cabarete — we work in the neighborhood of La Ciénaga, explore the canyons of Jamao, ride the waves of Encuentro, paddle the Yásica River, and offer many more adventures.
How did A.L.I.V.E come to be?
A.L.I.V.E. was created from the combined passion and expertise of an American/Austrian couple, Sarah and Helmut. With 16 years of experience running the school she founded, Sarah has worked with volunteers from around the world and trained staff to become exceptional educators. Meanwhile, Helmut brings 18 years of experience running an adventure company, giving him the skills to lead and manage unforgettable expeditions. Together, they combined their strengths and vision to launch A.L.I.V.E.!
